Located on the boardwalks of Manhattan and Venice Beach, Salon Three Thirteen is the epitome of sophistication in haircare. Renowned for its elegance, this chic sanctuary blends cutting-edge techniques with personalised service in a serene, upscale setting.


THE PROJECT:

Welcome to Salon 313, a 2024 rebrand built on the foundation of a Branding & Identity project I completed back in 2018 for Salon Three Thirteen. First, we can take a glimpse into where we came from before diving into the sleek, modern world of where the brand is going.
Rather than building a completely new identity around the rebrand, the approach was to re-envision the established DNA elements from 2018. By creating a link to the known, we increase brand integrity and familiarity with the customer, softening the shock of any rebrand. With new life breathed into their existing typeface and palette, identity guidelines containing a catalogue of applications to suit a modern-day brand were introduced.

Goodbye SALON THREE THIRTEEN, and welcome the sleek, minimalistic SALON 313—a powerful design shift reduced to its core without compromising existing trademarks. Geometric influences inhabit the logo, creating a cryptic aesthetic that aligns with the 2024 brand message: "Discover the Art of Gorgeous Hair."
